The Boston Redevelopment Authority has been working with its consultants, Utile, Greenberg Consultants, HR&A Advisors, and Nelson/Nygaard, over the last year and a half on the Greenway District Planning Study.
We have held seven well-attended public meetings as part of this process, and we are pleased to announce that the Final Draft Use and Development Guidelines are now available for your review and comment.
The Draft Guidelines, their relevant appendices, the district shadow analyses, and the PowerPoint presentations from the public meetings may be found below in the List of Publications. For best results, the Draft Guidelines may be viewed on your computer monitor. If you choose to print them, they are optimized for 11 x 17” paper, set in landscape mode.
Following a 30-plus day comment period, beginning on Friday, May 21st, the comment period will close on Friday, June 25th. In order to give us more time to evaluate the comments that we expect to receive, we have decided to postpone the presentation to the BRA Board of Directors until the July meeting. This meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 20th at 5:30 p.m. at Boston City Hall, Room 900.
All BRA Board Meetings are open to the public. Once the Board adopts the Guidelines, they will be used as part of the City’s Article 80 Development Review Process.
