Nabeel Hyatt
Founder & CEO, Conduit Labs
Nabeel is founder of Conduit Labs, a venture-backed team of industry veterans from Harmonix, Turbine, MTV, and Ambient out to revolutionize online social gaming.
Nabeel has served variously as Founder, CEO, and COO from garage startups, through venture backing, to going public. (That wasn't planned, mostly I just get angry about something in an industry and work with a group of awesome people to make it better)
Nabeel was most recently an Entrepreneur at Prism VentureWorks, helping establish their gaming investment group and incubating Conduit. Previously Nabeel was at Everypoint. Backed by Venrock, Prism, and TD Capital, Everypoint is a rapid application development platform for mobile phones used with Yahoo! for the FIFA World Cup.
Prior to that Nabeel was COO at Ambient Devices, an MIT Media Lab spin-off creating a new category of consumer electronics that received the prestigious "Ideas of the Year" award from the New York Times. Ambient has grown to be sold in over 3000 retail doors, with a broad base of customers from Radioshack to the Museum of Modern Art, and licensed to major consumer electronic brands such as LG.
Prior to that Nabeel served as COO/CMO of Teamtalk, a new media sports company which went public on the LSE in 2001.
And way back when, Nabeel co-founded One World by Night, the largest LARP network (or Massive Multiplayer Offline Role Playing Game) ever.
Nabeel was a 2004 nominee for the Top 100 Innovators Under 30 from MIT Technology Review.
