Directions and Parking to Northeastern University & West Village F (40 Leon Street)

Via Public Transportation
Northeastern is accessible by subway via the “E” or “Arborway” Green Line trolley of the MBTA. From downtown Boston, take an "E" train outbound to the Northeastern stop, the first stop above ground, which is also Huntington Avenue.

Northeastern can also be reached from downtown via the Orange Line by taking any train going outbound to Forest Hills and getting off at Ruggles Station. The campus abuts the station. Walking Directions from Renaissance Park Garage and Ruggles Station (Orange Line) to West Village F (40 Leon Street):
From the Renaissance Parking Garage, exit onto Columbus Avenue and cross over the subway and rail lines on the footbridge onto the Northeastern campus. Exit the MBTA Station to the other side of the station using exit doors marked “Northeastern.” You will face the campus and walk towards the center (bearing slightly left) on a sidewalk/pathway towards the glass building in the distance with the name “Behrakis Health Sciences Center.” On your right will be a classroom building entrance for West Village F.

Walking directions from Green Line/Huntington Avenue MBTA stop or #39 bus to the African American Institute:
From the Huntington Avenue stop, walk along the south side heading west (towards the Museum of Fine Arts). Turn left onto Leon Street. The Institute is on your right.

From the North (via Route I-93 or Route 1)
Take the Storrow Drive exit, and proceed to the Fenway exit. Follow signs for Boylston Street inbound, and bear right onto Westland Avenue. Turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue, proceed to the third traffic light, and turn right onto Columbus Avenue. The Renaissance Parking Garage is located at 835 Columbus Ave. See walking directions above.

From the West (via Route 90, Massachusetts Turnpike)
Take Exit 22 (Copley Square), and bear right. Proceed to the first traffic light, and turn right onto Dartmouth Street. Take the next right onto Columbus Avenue. The Renaissance Parking Garage is located at 835 Columbus Ave. See walking directions above.

From the West (via Route 9)
Proceed east on Route 9; it will become Huntington Avenue. Turn right onto Ruggles Street. At the fourth traffic light, turn left onto Tremont Street. At the second set of lights, turn left onto Melnea Cass Boulevard, and then turn left onto Columbus Avenue. From the South (via Route 3, Southeast Expressway)
Take Exit 18 (Massachusetts Avenue), and proceed onto Melnea Cass Boulevard. Continue for approximately two miles, and turn left onto Columbus Avenue. The Renaissance Parking Garage is located at 835 Columbus Ave. See walking directions above.
