Neighborhood Jobs Trust Job Training Services

The NJT Trustees have voted to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals for job training services.  The Trust is issuing this RFP through the OWD, a division of the Economic Development and Industrial Corporation (EDIC).  OWD will handle all questions concerning this RFP and review all submissions.

Letter of Intent Due: Wednesday, November 4, 2015          

Proposals Due: Friday, November 20, 2015

Responses must be electronically submitted by Friday, November 20, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. to [email protected].

The RFP solicits proposals for job training services. Programs funded through the RFP will provide low and moderate income Boston residents with training that leads to employment. The NJT RFP is to identify programs for funding for fiscal year 2016, from February 1, 2016–January 31, 2017. 
 
OWD will hold an NJT Bidders' Conference on Tuesday, October 27 at 10:30 AM in the BRA board room on the 9th floor of Boston City Hall. Potential applicants are strongly encouraged to attend; accommodations for persons with disabilities available upon request. A Letter of Intent to Bid (provided in the RFP) must be submitted by Wednesday, November 4. Proposals will be due Friday, November 20 by 5:00 PM. 

Please note a change in the NJT RFP: Effective 10/28/2015, please email any questions on the NJT RFP to Vroselyn Benjamin, Program Coordinator, at [email protected]. Questions received up until 10/27/2015 in Todd Lee's email will be reviewed and answered. Todd Lee is currently out on medical leave.

As a reminder, phone calls will not be accepted for any questions regarding this RFP. Responses to questions received during the procurement process will be posted on the OWD website at owd.boston.gov

Note: this RFP is not subject to 30B technical requirements as all grant agreements between a local jurisdiction and individuals or nonprofit entities for a public purpose of support or stimulation (rather than for the procurement of supplies or services for the benefit or use of the local jurisdiction) are exempt under M.G.L. c. 30B, § 2.
