Mayor’s Office of Financial Empowerment – Bridge to Hospitality Curriculum

The Mayor’s Office of Financial Empowerment (OFE), under the Office of Workforce Development, seeks a consultant to develop and deliver a “bridge to hospitality” curriculum that will be provided to adult learners engaged in coaching at the Roxbury Office of Financial Empowerment. The purpose of this program is to create a pipeline of qualified students to move directly into the Building Essential Skills Training (BEST) Corporation’s pre-apprenticeship hospitality program, or directly into the hospitality field, if applicable.

A curriculum including materials for the classroom and training guides is required, along with a delivery plan and schedule. The consultant will research the content and learning needs of the bridge program and develop a curriculum that includes soft skills, hospitality content, evidence- based reading, basic computer skills, consumer service, and basic conflict resolution skills. The course should include 150 hours of class time.

Individuals or consulting firms may apply. Please submit completed proposal by email to [email protected]. Details of the proposal requirement are in the full RFQ below.
