The Mechanical System Improvements Project generally consists of new heating, cooling and ventilation air plants with the associated electrical and structural modifications necessary. The work includes, but is not limited to, removing the existing equipment and providing and installing the following new equipment:
1.) Energy Recovery Unit (ERV) and Cooling towers (located on roof)
2.) Condensing boilers (located in basement).
Mechanical plumbing, electrical subpanel, baseboard radiation covers, chimney flue, duct riser with operable dampers, building management system modifications, new concrete slabs, structural roof reinforcement, drywall demolition, pre-fabricated metal panel head house installation are included in the work.
Required with all general and sub bids are MA Department of Workforce Development 'Sponsor Verification' form, DCAM Eligibility Certificate and update statement, and compliance with Boston Jobs Policy.
